Hey guys, for those of you who want more information about improvements on the dyno with a RaceChip installed, have a look at our channel where we release videos about development cars including dyno runs and acceleration runs on the Autobahn twice a month.
What you really want to do is strip the car back to its bare components. Lubricate everything with smooth peanut butter… DO NOT USE CRUNCHY! Then rebuild the car from scratch making sure to slather every single part with the PB. Once fully reassembled put the car onto reverse gear, pump the clutch 3 times and then turn the car off. Leave it alone for 6 months. Then when you restart it plug in a laptop, play Minecraft and order a pizza.
You will never get great results from a tuning box, there are many conditional maps within an ecu there to protect the engine and auxiliary components. When tuning a vehicle properly the conditional maps are not touched.. ie. Regen maps, ECT maps warmup ect ect. When you install a tuning box the ecu will not have control over these parameters as signal is manipulated by tuning box ..simple as that. So from the moment you start whether is -10c or 30c it will be inputting the additional fuel or boost as the tuning box doesn't have this data so rail pressure will be higher throughout the entire range and conditions don't come into it.
I know that stretch of road you kept filming on. It’s known as the Asruecken and the big hill in the back is Hohenstaufen, one of the forner castle locations of König Barbarossa. Spent summers in Eislingen, growning up. =p
Faster yes but saving fuel is pure bullshit stock cars are made to be as fuel efficient as possible with the given hardware most flash/piggy back works on changing those parameters for more performance somtime scraficing some fuel efficiency and emissions along the way stock turbo cars are never tunned to make the maximum amount of power the hardware can produce due to longevity and emissions concerns almost all tunes end up giving some part of those away for the extra power.
I've got a Hyundai i20N coming in a few weeks and the race chip upgrade looks tempting however, being a Hyundai it has a 5 year warranty which I don't really want to void and also have reliability concerns.
Being removable I'm guessing by doing so it becomes undetectable when I take the car in for service?
Also would I need to upgrade the cooling at all for long term use in sports or race modes? Again because if I do it would invalidate the warranty etc.
I want the gains but without the worry of an engine blow out etc…..

The Volvo S60 T4 2011 And the Ford Fiesta ST 180 has the same engine.. Both from Ford both with 182HP from factory.. Still the written results from your homepage says up to +51HP +72NM on the Volvo and only +30 HP +60 Nm on the fiesta??
Are you just writting down some numbers? Remember.. these engines are the same with the same performance, only difference is the enginecover.
Just pur it back in my car after new engine break in (wasn't the tunings fault) and wow the sit you back in your seat power is great if you ha e 4 cylinder turbo get a race chip or other!!! I didn't want to mess with the tuning myself so I went with race chip they do it for you! Support is great and they are very helpful if you have problems. Great for plug and play. Jbl is great for plug and play with the settings [don't get it wrong lol].
