I would say that the Wey is way more VW Beetle with a JC Whitney hood kit than PT Cruiser. Especially in the renders with the moon wheels if you place the VW symbol in the center of those wheels.
Sooo, $70k more for 7% more range? The starting base price for an EQE is $70k. With about 300 miles of range, 7% is 21 miles. So, double the price for just 21 miles. No thank you!

"hitchless towing" is up there with "self-charging hybrid" in the lineup of Toyota misleading phrases. 'Towing' means that a trailer, lacking propulsive power, is being pulled by a vehicle, having propulsive power. Of course Toyota wants to draw attention away from its embarassing-in-the-21st-Century hybrid powertrains with their costly and noxious trappings … ICE, CVT, CAT, to NOX.

But if you buy an ICE vehicle outside of CA and then bring it in, you pay a use tax on the value of the vehicle…so good luck on that.

Hitchless towing seems like an interesting idea (especially for trucking convoys), but with the gap that the trailing car is leaving, if this was tried on real roads someone would sneak into that gap in traffic, and now would this interloper be the "tow-er"? Is this camera based, or is there some other communication between them?

Electric trucks in the city are a no-brainer, with routes and constant stop and go like for Garbage and Recycling trucks and mostly city delivery routes we will have more of these in the future ,less maintenance and fuel costs too.
