I’ve heard you get warning lights on from the build up in the dpf filter? Is this true if so how did you fix this issue ? A good hard ride should do the trick ?
Good filming, I am trying with the idea of getting one, can tell me which you have yours on, I have heard that if the setting is too high it can and for the clutch.
I fitted mine (twas a real pain to fit due to rail location), but the difference was great! About 15% more power, and economy as well because you're not constantly slamming your foot to the floor in a dead slow 90 hp diesel. The engine never suffered, and was 100% reliable over 100+k miles. It did slightly help turbo lag also. If your car does not run properly once you connect a tuning box, you may need to reverse the 2 outer wires over on the plug at the injector rail, due to different brands of sensor used on diesels today. It will then run perfect. I liked the adjustable pot on the Italian box, as you can run the car right on the edge (max power) before it goes into limp home mode. Most boxes have quite a conservative setting which cannot be adjusted.
Hi i plan to get the Italian Speed Box for my Mazda BT50 model 2009-2010 pickup and i wonder will it be noticeable Throttle response throughout the whole rpm range til 4k rpm? Will it eliminate the throttle lag and is Throttle Responder/ Controller better than Chipbox? Lastly, is the Italian Speed Box stable now compare to some previous comment from other users in Youtube? Please do kindly advise. Thank James
Just fitted one to my 07 Toyota Auris T180 which supposedly takes power up from 176 bhp to 236 bhp. There's no way it's doing 236 bhp as my Saab 9-3 high output turbo is still significantly more powerful but first impressions are good and the traction control is far more active when you plant your right foot than it was before so something has definitely happened.
Seeing as you've had a really good fiddle with it what are your opinions on all the different modes? My 2.2 was recommended to use the race setting so have only used that so far.
I have just assemble the box on my Peugeot 208 1.4 68BHP the torque i got was huge, the power through all mid range rpm was also very high, the box really works also the guys there (italianspeed) are awesome they where there in every question i had. Probably the mpg will be lower because of the more torque but havent test it yet, becoz at the time im pushing it to feel the difference from the 68BHP to almost 100BHP !!!
p.s. will post my personal exmple, 50 to 100 klm with 3 gear, normal was at 9,8 seconds, with the box i got 7,1 seconds m/

What about some people saying the extra power can mess the clutch up on some cars out there.

Believe me they are very impressive, I just put one on a Kia sorento and the power increase is very good!

I have one of these fitted, it does give quite a good power and torque but I just need better MPG. Does anyone know where to set the dial ?
