Chiptuning to usługa, w której mechanik elektronicznie zwiększa moc wyjściową silnika samochodowego, modyfikując ustawienia w jednostce sterującej silnika samochodu. Ta usługa jest również znana jako „dostrajanie”.   1. I love the comments here from over the years. But to clear things up. Chips vs. Tunes vs. Canned tunes are all different. If a plug in chip tunes the ECU, that is not the chip I am talking about it. I am talking about chips that plug in and leave the stock ECU 100% the same. Chips or units that bypass aspects of the factory ECU are also different and are items the EPA are hunting down currently.

  5. Modern engines are tuned to maximum power with reliability from the manufacturers. . Air fuel mixture is usually toward lean to comply with emissions and fuel efficiency, except at full throttle to protect the engine. Every part of the engine is engineered to work together. I agree a professional tune will optimize performance at expense of fuel economy and very slight H.P and torque gains! Very well said sir !

  8. Took my f-150 to a dyno and it had 314hp and 298ft lb of tq. Bought a Rocket chip for 100$ drove 200 miles and took it back to the dyno: it hit 339 hp and 307 ft lb of tq so I’d say there not Fakes, some ppl just had shitty luck with them I’m Sure!!

  10. only turbo cars benefit from those chips because it unlocks more boost but n/a cars hardly get 5 hp since those engines already maxout unless you go full bolts on and that requires a dyno tune.

  12. That corner thing is all in your mind too lol .. In fact most everyone knocking performance chips are just regurgitating what other skeptics say online… "it's all in your head", the thing is, for me anyway and I suspect many feel the same way, my vehicle is pretty personal to me and I know how it drives, especially if I've owned it awhile, so when it drives different or something is wrong I know that too, so for all these people saying it's all in your head, my take is that you take it with a grain of salt! They blowin smoke!

  17. I live in quebec canada. What do you mean by a local tuner?? I want to know what to look for…I intend to get a camaro by the summer (had a 79 and 81) I want to get back to that

    Some cars' exhaust systems will produce an odd burble or bubbling noise. … The burble is in actual fact a series of lean misfirings caused by this timing which rumble out through the exhaust system. It causes no serious damage to the engine, and soon disappears once the vehicle has reached high speeds.

  30. Your vehicle noise basically drowns out your voice. There is no point in presenting a video while driving other than to maybe make you look cool. The background noise really takes away from what you are saying.

  32. Way back in time I bought an access port for my new St the time 2004 Subaru WRX. That thing claimed 30 extra HP. It did not disappoint. That 30 extra HP felt incredible in that little car.

  34. I do not agree. There are now chips out that really work and can add up to 60hp. For instance jdm pro stage 3 and it clearly offers real results. So people do your homework and some people just like getting 2-5 more mpg and faster throttle response. This chip even worked well on my Porsche turbo for only like $250 added a whole .4 seconds faster 0 to 60. Not a huge difference but noticeable and fun add on. So I call bs on your misleading people. 😁

  35. If its true what this guy on video is saying about performance chips. Then why are these companies selling them and no one is doing nothing about it and shutting down these companies for scamming people. It doesn’t make sense to me.

  39. I just put a BLM ✊🏿 bumper sticker on the back of my CTS coupe and I’m telling you brother the ass dyno is off the charts. That BLM Sticker had to give me about 45 more hp!..😆🤫

  40. I have a friend who worked on cars and had garages all his life and did a lot of 1/4 miles with cars himself, he says the same, still hunting for detailed answers on any of the plug and plays, can`t get any to tune yourself for my car

I changed the chip in my 89 corvette I seen no difference, I bought a Diablo tuner for my 06 GTO I seen no difference, month's later i bought a SLP modified Diablo tuner for my 06 GTO and ran the 455 bobcat tune and I seen no difference the only thing that was good about it was if I wanted I could turn off the downstream O2 sensors and remove the cats, to me I wasted my money. The best is go to a tuner it will be money well spent…
